Our Process

Building your first home or even your second home can be very complex and daunting. At DK, we try to simplify the whole build journey in 4 simple steps.

Your journey starts here and it’s FREE! Make an appointment with our expert consultant at our head office to go through the process of your build. During this initial stage, we will discuss what type of Build or Service you are after. Our initial consultation includes a site visit, Sydney Water Approval assessment and project quotation.

We believe that our clients have the rights to be well informed from the GET GO.

Consultation & Site Visit

Designs and Approvals

Whether you choose a custom or a package design, we will guide you through the whole design process and make sure the design meets your budget. Time spent on this process also depends on the number of changes you make to the design. We have unlimited modification and once the plans have been signed off, our team will take care of the rest including submitting to PCA or Council DA for Approval.

At DK, we pride ourselves on how well we project-manage our build to make sure our project timeline is met without cutting corners. All our contractors a fully licensed and insured delivering quality build to our clients. At every inspection stage of the build, our Project Manager will inform you of the progress, we will only ask for payments at stages that have been completed.

Construction

When we commit to go on the journey with you, we meant it. Before we hand it over, we will walk you through every part of your new build to make sure you’re HAPPY with have we have delivered. We have a 90 days grace period to fix minor defects and 6 Year home warranty insurance. We will not ask for a final payment until you have received your final OC (Occupation Certificate). When we hand over we don’t want you to call us back, the only reason we will get a call is when you refer us or want us to build another home for you.
